XReal Air2 - first hand experience

PH Collective ... I am really intersted in picking up a set of Air2 glasses for use when travelling etc. but struggling to find anyone that has used them to understand how they found them and their unbiased thoughts - and reviewers always seem tainted - does anyone here have any experience of them at all??

Its an interesting one.

Image quality and brightness is far better than I expected. The beam gets slated but its perfect for what I use it for and the ability to resize and pin an image in position.

I've not used it a huge amount due to moving and generally having time which makes it an expensive toy to date but once I have the time and build a habit to use it then I think I will use it a lot more.

I have the 1s not the twos and I have to say they are really good in certain use cases.

Flying - If you travel a lot they are great, plug into phone (I use a samsung) and enjoy or a tablet with a keyboard becomes a office.
Gaming - Steam deck / ROG Ally great sit on the couch and drive / shoot / fly

I even sometimes use them instead of VR for Assetto Corsa or Forza on the PC as it is like having a really big screen

Tempted by the 2 Pros but now thy have announced and Ultra model.
