Hi,

I have decided the 7a will be my next phone as it is now £379. Be grateful if you experts could comments on the charging accessories.

For home charging, I was looking at the Google own 18W wall charger (see below). If I was to go wireless, what wireless charger is reliable and fast?

For in car charging / android auto connection, I was looking at the Google USB A to C cable below:

https://store.google.com/gb/product/usb_c_usb_a_2?...

I have selected Google accessories purely for compatibility reason, but are there other reliable alternative to consider? A bonus if they are cheaper!
Thanks.

Edit: update charged link above

I'd usually pick something from Anker eg

Do you have any other devices that can benefit from faster charging by PD?

The 7a can charge at a max of 18W but any PD PPS charger can do this and charge at a higher level for other devices.

For example I bought a cheap pixel Chromebook that charges at 45W and I use a 65W charger for both the Chromebook @45W and my phone at ~20W. Because my charger can do 65W and has multiple ports I can charge both my laptop and phone quickly at the same time.

  • olata,
The charger link doesn’t work, but you can just get something from Belkin or Anker and save yourself some £££. Prob get both for the price of your cable. Will be decent quality from those two brands.

I currently don't own any other devices with fast charging.

Apart from the phone, the only devices I regularly charge are the 2 Lenovo tab m10 tablets I have for my daughters, and the wall plug states 10W output.

I would consider future proofing the home charger and go for a high power charger with a mix of UBS c and scart points. Any recommendations are welcomed.

My normal rule is to just buy whatever Anker are offering however I broke my own rule as the Anker versions that suited me were quite expensive

I've now get 2 of these

65W USB C Charger, KOVOL https://amzn.eu/d/0xsfCWg

The first one I bought about 9 months ago and it's been faultless so I bought a 2nd last week when on offer.

I specifically wanted a detachable standard power cable rather than a wall wart design, this is a standard fig 8 power lead so ideal.

If the 7a supports wireless charging then get the pixel stand. Works perfectly on my 8 pro
