S24 AI / Pixel apps types?

Hi,

I think I'd like to buy a S24 but there are some Pixel apps that really appeal.

I'm not a Samsung owner so am not up to date with current Samsung functionality nor what is expected to be released in the near future.

Are there/are there likely to be equivalent Samsung apps on the S24, to those being launched on the Pixel?


The apps I'm thinking of are...

Magic Eraser (move or remove objects in photos and AI fills in what's left behind, rather than smokthing/blurring).

Hold for Me (when you get put on hold on a phone call, this alerts you when you come off hold)

Best Take (choose people's faces from multiple photos)

The S24 series will launch next year so exact specifications and features are not known. The Pixel phone features are often country specific, make sure they work where you live first. They also often require a connection to the internet for Google to do its cloud processing magic.

Its a bit hard to figure out what will be installed on a phone that hasn’t even launched yet.

Eraser already exists on Samsung and has even before pixel had it. Google just marketed it better

You can also use the Google eraser on the Google photos app if you have a Google one subscription

As a Pixel 7 owner, I wouldn't place any importance on the magic eraser... The results are equivalent to those you'd see from a pensioner who has just discovered Photoshop.

The hold thing I really must try, but the only two occasions I had need of it the stakes were too high to entrust my place on hold to a bot!
