How the heck do I see print history ?
Discussion
Win 10, HP 9025 printer. Got a HP account and app thing.
I cannot see how to see what the printer has printed in the last few weeks.
It used to be quite simple to find but I am utterly lost,
Google is zero help as all the info varies horribly and some is out of date even though its only 6 months old.

In previous versions of windows I could look it up and see what had been printed and how many, very handy if you need to trace missing packages so you can make sure of how many labels were printed, what the warehouse said was sent and what the customer says they received. If 5 labels were printed but only 4 scanned and delivered the problem is warehouse based, if 5 were printed, 5 scanned and 5 delivered then its a customer trying it on. I generate the labels and want to know how many I printed on a particular morning last week.
I suspect like everything else these days the ability to view the history of the printer you own is now hidden behind a subscription service. much like the help desk for HP I discovered earlier that you can only use if you subscribe at $16 a month.

I believe there are 2 methods of doing this...one via W10 Event Viewer/Logging, and the other usually in the HP print settings.
The printer settings are the easier option, as you should be able to choose your printer from the Printers & Scanners settings, open Printer Properties and (depending on your printer) check the advanced tab to see if there's a 'Keep Printed Documents' option on there.
To view the print history you simply go to the same printer and click 'Open Print Queue' to see both pending and already printed items.
