Anyone got one or getting one, been wanting to upgrade my mini 2 for a while now to a full size air, spark etc, now feels as though the mini pro has all the features of the bigger ones ?

Anyone else upgrading ?

Yep, came from a Tello, so one hell of a leap forward.

I can't say as an upgrade from a previous mini, but so far I've not thought of anything it doesn't do that I'd want, or anything that doesn't work.

I've just got one too, my first drone. It seems to be a pretty impressive bit of kit and easy to fly. Image quality is ok, like a mobile phone really, but it should be good enough for what I need. I've had a few clients ask about drone pictures so it's not just a toy!

I got an Air when the mini first came out cos the AIr had features the mini didn't. The mini 4 is a massive leap forward now. and I am seriously thinking of getting the Mini 4, even though I have a barely used Air.

If you go for the full package with the controller with screen and additional batteries, no faffing getting up and running, range is superb, battery life superb, its so much more user friendly and quickly usable than the Air.

With the Air you had to plan your flight and shots due to the restricted range and battery life. Then when you did a quick flight - you needed to change battery cos you'd probably not have enough for another flight. Whereas the mini 30 mins, means far greater freedom and multi flights on one charge.

I was out on a run and someone got the new air4 out of his car - off and running and back again in the time it would have taken me to just get the Air in the er................. Air, i would have been stressing about range (signal) , and also whether I had enough battery to get where I wanted and back again.

How long would a battery last on the air? The mini 4 batteries are incredibly light in comparison to my mates Mavic, the overall design is amazing .

15-20 mins, but as a clumsily tried to explain, if it takes 7-10 mins to do a flight, - you'd be daft to risk another on the same battery
