I've got a webcam and am currently using a couple of table lamps to illuminate my gurning fizog.

I need something stronger though.

What lights would people recommend? Up to 50 quid.

Ive tried a few and found LumeCube (their video conference light box kit) to be the best and most consistent - its used M-F for 6-8hrs per day - and has been for a couple of years now.

Ive got one of these clipped onto my monitor arm, it doesn't shine directly at me but does light up the desk with a softer glow. Bought when Covid started and I had to work from home, its been good and still works as it should.

Also have one of these which can point directly at you to fill in the lighting on those early morning / late evening calls. If I am being honest I don't use it a lot as find the light quite hard on the eyes.

I have a white painted wall directly behind my main monitor and have a normal led lightbulb hidden behind the screen. It illuminates up the wall and provides great diffused lighting for webcam use.

Thanks for the suggestions. I shall investigate.
