Only happened today but occasionally happens infrequently but very bad today. I subscribe to many channels,

So you see the clip from someone in your subs, see it is say 10.50 long.

Click the clip and normally the clip just plays.

But today I am frequently getting this, spinning wheel of death and at the bottom the clip length says 0.06 for every clip just about regardless of its actual length

Not happening with everything, but certainly today happened on probably half the clips I would view. Have deleted cookies and cache on Chrome.

Very odd little glitch, any ideas? And also tried gong back time and again to start over, refreshing aswell no joy. like clip is glitched but it must be my end.

A lot of the adverts are 5-6 seconds long so perhaps its trying to play an advert. Do you have an ad-blocker?

I've been getting ad-blocker warnings, and tonight it has limited how many videos I can view until I disable the ad-blocker.

You are both right.

I have never paid anything for YT, and am a very frequent user, I only use Adblocker and today not only was it massively interfering with my watching it was not telling me what was going on so I had no idea. Turned it off and hey presto, 20 min vid utterly ruined by ads every 3 minutes.

Apparently Google have spent a serious amount of time working on a way to get past Adblock on youtube,

On my PC I have not seen in advert on there for many years now, yes on PS and other formats like phone, but on PC Adblock has been utterly unbeatable on YT.

Apparently not anymore they have finally beaten it.

Might be time to try a specific piece of software that is not yet targeted by Google and YT.

I don't get adverts when I use Firefox but I have multiple addblockers.
Ublock origin, Ghostery, and Addguard addblocker.

Chrome extension Fadblock, doesn't block the adverts it skips to the end of the adverts in 50 milliseconds so not really interrupting and the adserver will still think the advert loaded.
