New Lenovo with stylus - It can't be THIS crap, can it?
Discussion
Afternoon all!
I've just taken delivery of a new Lenovo X13 Yoga which has a touch sensitive screen and a stylus for use therewith. The machine is ideal for when I'm travelling as it's tiny and weighs next to nothing, and I was thinking I could reduce weight even further and also save a lot of time by using the stylus to capture notes in Evernote via handwriting recognition.
This is where all the difficulties begin!!! Whilst I can get the stylus to work with the screen, there are a whole host of problems.
1. It only seems to be willing to allow me a tiny little box to type in! This is exacerbated by the tiny nature of the stylus which for whatever reason means I struggle to write anything other than great big words, so I can only fit about 3 words at a time in the box, then seemingly have to wait for it to process that before I can proceed.
2. My hand resting on the screen seems to confuse the hell out of it, so it keeps responding in random ways!
3. There seems to obvious way to tell it I'm trying to type in the title field rather than the main body of the note.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I can't imagine the technology can be this utterly useless - even my much smaller Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra runs rings around it - so I have to assume there's some sort of setting somewhere I need to enable/disable to make stylus handwriting the main input form?
