Has my FB installation been hacked?

I'm not sure how, but my installed version of FB or a determined attempt to log in with URL "Facebook.com" all result in this pop-up - and lock-up, but at least nothing else seems to be affected, so far.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Update: it's only happening in FB run from within Firefox in the current window or a new window - but not in a private window! Likewise, other browsers are fine.

Can you try clearing your cookies, recent browsing history, caches etc since the time the problem started?

Thanks for jogging me to do what should have been the obvious next step.
Removing today's history from the browser seems to have been enough to rid it of this annoying problem.
If anything else crops up that seems to be related, I'll take the next steps.

This thread's title mistakenly implies there is FB installed on my Windows 10 PC but, of course, a browser just visits the FB site. So, I guess, FB version is not applicable.
Hey, all's well that end's well - especially when it comes to a suspected viral attack that none of my security could detect.

Facebook have recently been pushing a Windows app.

I wouldn't let said app, near my PC if they paid me.

For the same reason, I don't have FB on my phone either.
