Connect cellphone to landline?
Discussion
We have had BTdisconnect our landline as few people call us on it and we have a unlimited calls at low price on our mobiles.
We have a large house in which we have 5 cordless handsets, so if the landline was called we could hear it and answer it.
We don't want to have our mobiles premanently attached to us so if we are in another part of the house we don't always hear them ringing.
There might be a way to connect the mobiles to the landline base station so if the mobile rings so do all the handsets.
Such a device exists in USA called Cell2jack but not sure it would be compatable with the socket on a UK base station.
This is only the same as the mobile connecting to the car using Bluetooth, anyone got any ideas?
