Apologies all for asking a question from the 90's but how do I export a playlist from windows media player as if it's an album?

What I've got...

What I need...

A link that I can post on whatsapp which my friends can download as an album regardless of what phone, computer or operating system they've got.

Have tried googling but it's all rubbish about .wlp files without a simple here's how to make a link. I can host whatever's needed on google drive but it needs to be a link that folk can tap and open.

Some backstory for fun, because like I say this is a question from the 90's.

I was recently in Spain visiting a yeti (he escaped the UK long ago). A yeti is one of those people who you've never met but all your friends have talked about so you know they exist because you've seen their footprints in your friend's lives. Was good, the yetiness was mutual.

Anyway, there was a group of us and we got in to talking tunes. Upshot is that I returned with a bunch of CDs from his bag of yesteryear and when he's next back in Glasgow he'll visit me and raid my cupboard full of old music.

In the meantime I need to post tunes on whatsapp. Haven't really used MP3s since the advent of streaming but there's some playlists that I'd like to share with my friends. How do I get from a playlist on windows to a link people can click to listen to?

Dave.

Sign up to Spotify (it's free), recreate the playlist in there, share said playlist....

You could create a playlist file easily enough (.m3u) but no-one other than you would be and to play it as they would also need the audio files to be able to listen.

As advised above, your best bet is to crate a playlist on something like Spotify or YouTube Music and share that.
