BT have changed our service to VoIP and the new router only has one phone socket. Before we used to have two phone handset on one line by having having 2 wireless handsets. Is it possible to have a VoIP version of what we had before. Do we need a another router?
The socket on the back of the router is for BT's Digital Voice (VOIP) service. An ordinary phone or a DECT base station can be plugged into the socket. There are videos on YouTube that show what else you can achieve with the socket.
