I updated yesterday - seems fine. My Iphone 12 seems a little more snappy and battery life doesn't seem to be affected (could potentially even be slightly better)

Auto delete 2FA text messages is a nice feature, as are voicemail transcripts and your contact photo/poster.

Also the dictation to text is much improved.

WatchOS10 is also very polished!

I downloaded it when it was launched.

I find my 14 max pro snappier somehow.

I did have to look through this video though to find out the various changes

No problem!

I have found the new nightstand feature quite nice.

I find his videos really useful, very in depth.

I had to watch the same video walk through with Watch os10 as well.

Welcome.

Just updated and, well, i think it's probably called 'underwhelming'.

Will check out the video later.

Can finally download maps on Apple Maps to use offline, haven’t noticed any other changes on what I use.

My series 4 watch battery went from 100% to zero in about 2 hours hehe

Unpaired then re-paired and seems to be ok now.

Quite like the Snoopy watch faces.

Updated the phone & watch.

First difference in the watch, before I could swipe to change the face.
Now have to press it for a couple of secs, then swipe.
Had me worried there!

First animated watch face I've left on smile

It helps that rotating the crown gives me access to all of the widgets and info I used to have on my modular watch face.

In terms of iOS17 - if you haven't already go into Accessbility -> Touch -> Haptic Touch and try out "Fast".. it's imo much better than the default.

I’ve been using the snoopy one for a couple of days, great fun!

I didn’t know about changing the speed of the Haptic Touch, I will change that now!

Just a bit of extra typing assistance but otherwise can't see any difference whatsoever. Game changer.

no idea if this is new or always been a thing (only had the watch a couple of weeks), when i unlocked my phone this morning a message popped up to say it also unlocked my watch.

Always been a thing, but always used to be an option you could enable or disable. It is helpful when you are wearing sunglasses (or a mask...) and the phone cannot see your eyes (or your whole face).

You can also use your watch to unlock a Mac mini (and approve things rather than entering your password).
