https://www.nominet.uk/lookup/

do Autotrader.co.uk

Under the section DNS Delegation Signer (DS) records

"This domain is not listed at the registry as using DNS Security Extension (DNSSEC) which means that DNS queries cannot be cryptographically verified. Since DNS queries cannot be verified it is technically possible for third parties to interfere with DNS lookups made for this domain. If this is your domain, you may wish to check if your DNS provider and registrar can help you upgrade to use DNSSEC."

Is that the problem? Have they been hacked maybe, or interfered with.

I got that a few minutes ago on another one of their sites. Methinks they've got a big problem

It's working from my bookmarked link and I've logged in OK too.

I've got some pages on Autotrader permanently open in tabs on my browser as I'm currently looking for a car. No issues here at the moment.

I clicked on a link from my browsing history and it worked just fine, tried via google search and got the same blocked message

That screenshot looks like a genuine Cloudflare "you've been blocked" message.

There should be a RayId value at the bottom of the page that you can copy into any message to Autotrader. They can then lookup what triggered it.

Quite possible that someone at Autotrader changed a website protection setting in their Cloudflare account by accident.

Not that it's that hard to get blocked by Cloudflare.

Whatever the problem was, access via Google has been restored.
