EU Roaming on Apple Watch

I’m looking how to have EU roaming on Apple Watch I have tried both Vodafone and EE, neither of which currently work roaming on a watch bought from Apple.

My next plan was to see if I could have a second sim (based in the EU) which allowed this though I’ve no idea how to set this up, I guess it would need to be a contact.

I’m open to suggestions on how to get this working?

All I’d say is after my wife accidentally attaching a second one number from Vodafone to her watch the fall out to resolve what esim was the right one (and more importantly the one that would continue to work) was such a headache.

I’d be reluctant to add a second e sim…

Only looking for one esim on the watch - one that works in the EU rather than one that will work in the UK.

If your phone has roaming, does it matter?

I thought that if your plan had roaming then so would your watch? I am sure I have done so with mine in the past although I might be mistaken.
