I am not a powerfully built director but a director nonetheless. My mobile has been mine for many years and I do not want to lose it. I don't really need 2 phones - therefore is possible to transfer your mobile number personal to a business contract? On hold with O2 for the last 45 minutes...

I did it years ago, and back out again when I later left the company I transferred it into. Had the same number since the days of analogue mobiles!

What’s the difference between a personal and business contract?

I use google voice; ported my personal number to GV and get texts and messages on that, and also on the real cellphone number.

I think it cost $10 a few years back to port and 0 since.

(except a remarkably and convoluted fix for the CNAM, which we got reversed).

You get a proper VAT invoice on a business contract. You can get a priority customer service. You often pay more.

I have two EE numbers, one I use for personal, one for my business. They are both on personal contracts as EE wouldn't maintain the deal I'm on if I moved them to a business contract, wanted a new 24m contract etc.

I have a dual sim iPhone and run both umbers on one phone. Really easy.
