I have had some problems recently with my apple i phone whilst using a radio app (manx radio) whn listening to the station with apple airpods. In fact every 4 or 5 minutes the program goes on pause and i have to stop what im doing and restart it.

Have you tried the TuneIn app? I listen to a station all day long with TuneIn and as far as I can see Manx AM/FM are listed as available stations.

So I walk into my office, ‘hey siri, play Dance Classics on TuneIn radio’ and my HomePod starts playing.

Occasionally Dance Classics goes offline/tits up so I just pick another station for an hour or so, usually Capital Dance Radio.

Same happens with the Planet Rock app, I thought it was a coverage issue, but maybe not

Assuming you are using 4G / 5G - what is your signal like?

Internet radio pausing is usually caused by loss of stream, caused by signal loss.

Ok Update

Thanks to all that have replied.

Its happens with tunein app aswell.

network is full strength on 4G.

Iphone 12 mini up todate.
Apple watch up to date
airpods Pro 2 although it tends to only happen when using them....possible touching them to put them pause?

ran out of ideas?

Try settings/bluetooth and turn off automatic ear detection and see if that fixes it.
