We have FTTP which I presume is actually Openreach. The service for the last 10 years has been rock solid.

Currently with BT but looking to save some dosh.

I don't need particularly fast. 150Mb download 30Mb upload is fine.
The BT smart Hub 2 is fine - I've got good wifi all over the house.
We have digital voice with 700 minutes per month
and a couple of very low usage mobiles.

Who should I look at for a less expensive service?

we have FTTP and moved from a reliable BT service to SKY.
it was much more unreliable and the router was rubbish, annoyed the hell out of my son on his Xbox.
now back with BT after the contract expired.

I would go on comparison sites look at the deals available and then speak to BT to haggle their price down.

What are you paying for what you have?

Use this that provides data on you address that should provide alternatives solutions.

You might be able to move over the voip to a cheaper solution, I suspect A&A is £1.44 line rental & monthly calls from an alternative supplier for aprox £25 per year.

Inbound calls don't cost anything. Outbound calls can be obtained either from your number provider (e.g. A&A) for a fee, or you can even use a different (cheaper) provider. I get all my outbound calls to UK landline and various overseas (inc. USA) for around £25 per YEAR. That's using a Dellmont brand (in my case - FreeVoipDeal).
