One day my printer just refused to connect to my computer via wifi. I've been using a cable since. But it's tedious.

Years ago I remember having google cloud print, but they took that service away like so many others. It was wonderful. Is there an alternative solution I can use?

Anyway, i've tried hooking up to my printer manually via wifi, but it still doesnt want to work. The computer sees the wifi printer and connects to it, but the status remains offline.
My router doesn't even see the printer when the WPS button is pressed.

Is my printer's wifi goosed?

It's a samsung m2020w. Yes i've tried multiple driver/firmware/software updates.

Is there a Samsung app you can use for printing so you can print via your phone. This is assuming of course your computer files are accessible on your phone.

I had a similar issue with a brother printer and they had a social app for it

With my new printer I use apple air print (which is much easier)

There is, but it's only a feasible solution in an emergency.

Hateful things, i bought a M2026W a couple of years ago, after numerous failed attempts to get wifi printing working, i gave up and just do it via usb the odd time I need to print anything.
Even that is dependant on turning it on the right way, is mars transiting through venus and is it the 3rd tuesday of the month.
After a few failed attempts at wifi printing I plugged it in one day and it printed stuff i'd sent months earlier and given up on, consuming all the paper i had then errored until i'd promised to sacrifice my first born.
At least the laser cartridges last ages although you have to shake them for exactly 24 seconds before use.
I swore years ago i'd never buy another Samsung device then accidentally bought this as it was cheap, never again.

Mine does that occasionally. Usually sorted by switching the router off for five minutes.
