Does Anyone Know Fusion 360?
Discussion
It's killing me, send help!
I have a sketch, it's set to visible. I want to trace some of it's features as a new sketch and extrude the result into a new body. I've done this 3 times already without any problem, once I found the setting that lets you snap to points on existing sketches.
Now when I create a new sketch and select my existing sketch as the working plane the Sketch Palette is turning the Snap option off. I turn it back on, but it refuses to snap to any of my existing geometry, as if the plane is not the plane of the sketch I selected.
To add insult to injury, each time I Finish the Sketch it creates the new sketch even though there is nothing in it - Is it possible to tell it not to do that when I abandon a sketch? I then delete the empty sketch, but I'm up to Sketch 66 already and it's a bit annoying.
Does anyone know what's causing my issues? As I said, I'm repeating something that was working fine half an hour ago, I've not touched any settings or done anything differently.
