Mcafee virus spam on android

My wife has inadvertently picked up a spam fishing pop up saying her phone is infected with a virus. She obviously knows not to press it but how on earth do you get rid? She has completely cleared all caches but still it keeps coming up.

Is there an easy to use eejit guide to help? This is a screenshot of what she keeps getting

These are normally notifications that she might have inadvertently enabled. Click the three vertical dots, then Settings, Notifications, Notification Categories. That will give a list of all the websites that are allowed to send notifications, check all of those and disable any you don't recognise or don't want. There's a good chance that will sort things.

If it's a Samsung try Settings / Battery & Device Care / Protection and turn it off.
