Got a few projects to complete and rather than use the current cheapo soldering iron would like to invest in a proper soldering station with temperature controlls etc.

Any recommendations - £70 or so the budget.

Thanks in advance.

Quick look on the usual providors lists this:

Any good or are there better options?

Don't think I need any digital tricks and treats (or do I?) so thought anlogue would do the task.

RS ? A bit dearer than the other option, but spares should be no problem.

Weller WE1010NA might be an option, but would need to save up a bit more.

If you've got 18v power tools you can use the batteries on a T12 china clone. They do versions which accommodate Makita, DeWalt and Milwaukee batteries, but you could use an adaptor if you have some other platform such as Ryobi.

Have a look on YouTube, they seem to get good reviews.
