Hi all, I’ve got some training to do for work and they’ve used some website to manage the content called Memeo.

It’s locked down in that I can’t copy or print or save anything from it.

Just wondered if anyone knew a quick way to get round this?

Cheers.

Screenshot, and then use something to OCR the screenshot? Out of interest, would the website object to you using thier copyrighted content for business purposes (thus the protection)?

Cheers guys. Works a treat with the exception that the page is multiple scrolling. Is there a Mac snipping tool which can capture the entire page?

If it opens in safari https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/safari/sfri3... sometimes strips nonsense

Can you hit print and save to PDF?

Look for a browser extension or add-on that re-enables the right-click menu.

Not free, but SnagIt will do capture scrolling pages...there is a free trial available.

Some web browsers have a "Reading view" feature, which will remove all the crud and just serve the text from the page. If the web page is built properly that should work.

Firefox has it

Firefox also has a screenshot mode that'll capture the whole page.

Can thoroughly recommend Shottr on the Mac, which will do scrolling screenshots (as well as annotations, etc)
