If so what is your set up?

With a desk usually being up against a wall any rear satellites would have to be in the middle of the room sort of. Wonder if anybody had any cunning set ups to get around this.

Thanks

I don't bother. The sound positioning in games where sound location will matter, is good enough to tell me what's on the side/behind. Clever stuff.

You can get gaming chairs with built in speakers. No idea how good they are or whether it could achieve the result you're after.

Sounds the best bet frankly, speakers dont get in the way when not needed that way. Maybe rear bluetooth satellites, if such a thing exists, could be "fiddled" onto the rear of a chair somehow.

But maybe as said a decent ish sound bar type affair with virtual surround might work ok enough.

Cheers all

I used to. It is a PITA to accomodate ina room that us more than a game room/office.

I now use decent headphones/DAC/amp (Zen Dac, Sennheiser/AKG headphones). Plain ol' stereo works brilliantly. I don't really do multiplayer gaming anymore but I'd probably go f or an audio interface if I did. (EVO4).

I use an old Logitech Z906 system in a small office / study c 8x9' - sub fits neatly under the desk and room & shelf layout puts front & rears neatly in the corners - and center right above my screens - I then choose to sit slightly off centre but with a bit of judicious adjustment of settings it's not spot on perfect but as good as I can distinguish....
