Steam Deck Game Recommendations
Discussion
I just ordered the 256gb SSD version of the steam deck on a whim, following a glowing endorsement from my brother.
I have done zero research but it sounds like it's up my street, going to be making a lot of use of the emulation capability.
Any recommended games / applications etc worth looking at? My steam library is mostly classics such as RTC, AOE, Portal, Grim Fandango (can't wait to play this again properly) etc. I prefer nostalgia games for casual play but games I've played that stand out recently are Fallout, Gran Turismo, Skyrim, Zelda, Mario, Luigi, subnautica, Mass Effect, Last of us, ratchet and clank. Bit of a mix.

I played dark souls 3 through on my steam deck. It was great. You could pick it up and it would instantly be exactly where you left it. No booting up, no loading screens. That made the whole experience much easier to fit into a busy life.I have done zero research but it sounds like it's up my street, going to be making a lot of use of the emulation capability.

Vampire Survivor is another must experience. Plays great on the steamdeck.
