I'm seeking some advice on how to get internet Wi-Fi setup in my garden office.

The garden office is quite some distance from the house so I can't pick up my home Wi-Fi signal there.

We get internet in the house via a starlink dish so can I run a cable from the box that is attached to the starlink dish across the garden to my garden office? And then put a Wi-Fi transmitter thing on the end of the wire in the office?

The starlink system has two boxes the dish plugs into one box and a cable comes out of that box into the Wi-Fi transmitter thing.

Photos of the boxes attached.

I would probably opt for the ethernet port adapter that you can get and then run the ethernet cable from that down to your garden room.

Excellent thanks I can easily run a cable. I'm not very computer savvy though is it easy to get an ethernet port adapter? Do I need a particular type and where does it plug in?

You will need the Tesla one specifically for Starlink.

That will plug in to the router and give you an ethernet port there to connect your cable to.

Thanks, but the link seems to show a completely different Starlink setup to mine. In the video he says it's a V2 version and he asks why Starlink did away with the ethernet socket in the V1 kit? If I bought the adapter he is selling it wont plug into anything on my Starlink boxes.

My kit looks different (see pics above), perhaps the V1 version he refers to, and has an "aux" port on the router. Is this aux port what I need to plug a cable into and run it to my garen office?

Apologies, completely missed the V1 hardware. Yes, plug in to the Aux port. Not sure if that will run DHCP for you to give addresses out on the network so you may need to check with others who have that setup.
