Help with replacement laptop screen
Discussion
Can anyone help please.
My wife knelt on the laptop a few weeks back and smashed the screen.
We don’t use it a lot but my little boy is having some
tuition through the holidays.
I’ve looked only and you can get screens for £30, happy
to try and replace it myself.
The main problem is it is a Lenovo yoga touch screen
and looks like the £30 replacements will stop this?

Easy enough to replace, recent thread here > https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
With lenovos, they often have a sticky elastic rubber band strip behind the left and right sides of the screen. These must be carefully pulled down via their tabs, quite a long way, and then the band detaches from the screen, freeing it. Be careful though, as they need to be reused for the new screen.
