Mrs Fox has one of these ,and the 'screen' has become detached from the body.
It is way out of guarantee so /any repair is on the cost side

Anyone had this problem and what if any glues would be the best solution ( pun not intended)

I believe this is the recommended glue for cellphone repair (did some research on this when I was trying to fix one of mine):

Amusingly, the 5th review is someone repairing his fitbit; so I'd say give it a go.

edit - at least one other review of someone replacing his wife's fitbit screen which had fallen off.

Check that it isn't the battery swelling that has caused the display to become dethatched. If it is no glue will fix it. Batteries swell when they start to fail.
