It doesn't appear to have the ability to scroll fast through the ads.

Has it the facility to do this, and if so, how do it do it?

i dont think ITVx allows you to fast forward

I don't think any of the "free" streaming players like ITVx, My5, All4, allows you to fast forward through the adverts.

They used to before ITVx came along, but no more...They never wanted to allow the advertisers "free" time, but now that streaming is more popular that live television, so are the ads....
