I had one, but had to return it due to issues.
I went back to using my old Roku 4k stick - it's old but still works fine.
Interesting, what issues did you come across? I cannot even access mine at the moment. If I return to Argos I’m a little concerned about all my logins for app still on there. I went back to using my old Roku 4k stick - it's old but still works fine.

Can’t you try formatting it using laptop/PC? Nothing to lose by plugging it in.We still use our old one, keeps on going even if the remote looks in a sorry state.
I had similar with an older FireTV device - it would stick at the loading screen.
If you are technical, you can access the underlying OS with a USB power splitter, a PC and the Android ADB toolkit - but they are pretty locked down so you can't do it a lot to them - I could tell that it was stuck in a boot loop but not much else.
I contacted the amazon helpline - they offered me a discount on a new one, but it was out of warranty by that point.

Ok so if it is corrupt then my login in details etc and account cannot be accessed if someone plugs it to a pc If you are technical, you can access the underlying OS with a USB power splitter, a PC and the Android ADB toolkit - but they are pretty locked down so you can't do it a lot to them - I could tell that it was stuck in a boot loop but not much else.

Not sure if it was a 4k but mine went like that when it got too full.
I emptied the cache on everything and removed various apps and it worked fine. I think it needs some free space to do the administration, bookmarks etc.
Ok that’s interesting, I cannot even get past the load screen to do anything.I emptied the cache on everything and removed various apps and it worked fine. I think it needs some free space to do the administration, bookmarks etc.

Thanks mate, will give that a good read, fingers crossed it’s a glitch but most likely hardware failure. On the Amazon Forums it’s seems quite a popular subject at the moment.

You may be able to log into your accounts on computer and remove the access from the stick, or you can change your passwords there.
