Just got full fibre and supplied with Eero 6 router. All good and working well.

A couple of rooms in our extension have a weaker signal so thinking about adding an extender to complete the system.

I'm confused about what Eero to buy to extend. There are loads of what I already have on ebay (the Eero 6 router). Can that be used as an extender which isn't hardwired with Ethernet cable?

I can see Amazon sell extenders but they seem pricey.

So can I buy another of what I have and plug it in (power only) another room?

Yes any Eero 6 or 6 Pro will act as a MESH system and work together auto-magically

I have 2x6s and 1x6Pro in my place and they work perfectly together and zero issues and dropouts from devices moving between zones - had them for 14ish months now.

Excellent, thanks. I'll grab one and set it up. Just didn't want to get stuck with the wrong kit as I don't have wired internet anywhere else in the house.
