VM email , a mess
Discussion
Guys you really need to move away from VM email, it’s not even a proper email client. Also you can only have a maximum password length of 10 characters.
It’s painful to change your email address everywhere but in the long run you’ll be glad you moved away, plus if/when you ever need to leave VM services the threat of them taking your email address away will mean nothing as you’ll already be gone.
I recommend proton mail.

I've been with VM since the days of NTL so I think most of my contacts would only have the Ntlworld email.
Is there anyway of putting a redirect on the email so it forwards emails to my hotmail account?
Received the following from VM earlier today.............

As of Tuesday evening, we have restored your ability to send and receive emails from your account. However, we’re aware that you are among a small proportion of users who are currently not able to see historic emails in your inbox. We want to reassure you that we are working to restore your inbox and its contents as soon as possible.
