Nest IQ Outdoor Failed

I am now on my second IQ.
The first one failed just days within its 24 mth warranty.
It was replaced under warranty. The second one has now failed at 27mths.
I have contacted google and they have raised to second line but their answer is "computer says no".
Ok fair enough, but both cameras have failed within 3 months.
Is it unreasonable to expect at least something maybe a discount on a new one or something?
I would not mind if it was 50 quid but the IQ is not a cheap camera.
