Hi all

My windows 10 has just completed an update and restart and now every webpage is super slow to load. I don't know if it's my laptop or browser where the problem lies because the my browser "Edge' logo has been replaced with a white rectangle rather than the normal blue e type logo.

Any ideas would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your help.

Is it slow finding the site or slow to download things on the page - as in the process starts and you see images etc. but they take forever? If the former it might be worth upadting your DNS settings to use something like 1.1.1.1

If the latter, rebooting. your mode/router is a good starting point. Won't have been affected by updating windows but could be conincidence.

It is an unwritten law of computer programing that every operating system update must use more RAM to operate.
I use a Windows 10 HP computer for work, and with having a few things open at the same time, I had to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB of RAM.

Might not help, but 6GB seems small to me by standards these days - is here the option to upgrade it? My 8GB upgrade cost about £30.

6GB of RAM says very high end at the time but very old laptop.

what actual processor have you got?

Start menu, type msinfo32 and run it, that will tell you.
