Help locating lost/stolen AirPods?

Any advice for locating lost AirPod Pro's (Gen 2) please?

I have either lost mine or they have been stolen. I left them at home the other weekend when going away, my son had mates round that weekend and a few days later having got home I realised they were missing.

'Find My' app shows them at my house the day before I went away, but they must then have lost charge as there have been no further updates. Would they show on Find My if someone charged them up?

Only if paired with another device, from memory. That device will then display a warning re. those AirPods being linked with another iCloud account and showing their location.

There is an option for Air Pods Pro 2 to have them play a sound even if they are in the case.

There is also a Find nearby option that works a bit like warmer, warmer, colder, they're here! Should help if they are still in the house (unless the battery is dead in the Pods and the case).
