I have a domain name with 123 Reg which I use for email.

A while back my wifes email stopped working and I kind of got funneled into a Google Workspace subscription and that has the wife, kids and myself on there, it started working again but was costing me £16.10 per month.

I dont need any of the features other than the email addresses, can I cancel the Google Workspace ? Any advice ?

You can but you will lose the email in there. You could point the dns records of the domain to other mail host for receiving new email. Exchange online might be an option. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/exch...

If you're using a personal domain, from experience I'd recommend using either Google Workspace or Office 365.

Anything else is an absolute pain when it comes to sending emails - I used to use TSOHost and I had some important emails to contacts at Facebook (I was interviewing with them) get bounced back due to crap sender reputation.

I willingly pay the £4 or so a month it is for a Google Workspace starter one user subscription now. It just works.

Just trying to work out what account to keep, as only the wife and youngest have used their domain address, am paying £16.10, it says for seven seats, five of us plus Spam Bin and Proxy.

Doesnt seem to add up to any of the plans at that price. Will keep it, just want to understand it and get better use from it.

For example, can I do away with Photobucket for photo storage for example ?

Highly likely that you can, as you'll be receiving storage with a Workspace account, so can use G Photos for cataloguing/simple edits and it'll utilize some of your storage allocation.
