As the title - I'm away for about a month on hols, France and Portugal.

Is there a VPN i can get for a couple of months that works so I can listen to UK radio stations whilst basking in the sun eating a tasty mediterranean diet and quaffing unhealthy beverages?

I'm a Nordvpn user and have been for about 18 months. I use it on my Nvidia shield (TV box), home PC and laptops as well as mobile phone.

I'm on Turkey right now and I used it a few times this week. Once to watch FA cup final yesterday on BBC, and a few times when buying something where it kept complaining I was outside the UK

I also listened to BBC Sounds using VPN

It was all flawless and brilliant. It's also incredibly cheap for short periods with tons of special offers. I just renewed, something like £45 for a year or similar

You can listen to most of BBC sounds anywhere in the world, pretty sure you can do this with most online radio.

ExpressVPN works well on all sorts of devices - free trial for 30 days if you sign up, but remember to cancel before the annual billing kicks in

Check your router. If it isn’t a crappy ISP supplied one then it might have a vpn server built in you just need to configure.

to listen to radio you don't really need a VPN.
most stations have online streams which can be accessed, install TuneIn and any dedicated radio station app.

Tunein seems to have recently stopped working outside the Uk for BBC streams. The BBC Sounds app has worked wherever I have tried it

I usually connect to a Norway server and it seems to run ok for me.
