Chrome mobile problem.

I've just noticed when I search for something on my mobile, I'm getting a thick black band down the right hand side of the screen obscuring the information on screen (see screen shot) I've checked settings and for the life of me, I don't know how to switch it off. Is anyone else encountering the same problem?
