Please someone help me before I go mad.

I'm trying to get a gaming set of pedals and steering wheel to work together. They are different brands, so I've researched and found I needed to buy this adapter to get them to work: https://collectiveminds-uk.myshopify.com/collectio...

In their guide of how to set up the system, it lets you state exactly which wheel and pedal combo you have, and this is the image it then gives me:

As you can see it says I need a T.RJ adapter between the pedals and the Drive Hub. So, I bought this: https://shop.thrustmaster.com/en_gb/t-rj12-usb-ada... - costing me £40 delivered FFS.

But, turns out it isn't right!! Pic below, it doesn't fit.

So what the hell is it I need, here's a pic of the thing I'm trying to plug in:

It looks like a mini ethernet, as it's certainly too small to fit in a normal ethernet to USB adapter.....

If anyone can solve this I'll be over the moon, I'm ready to chuck something out of a window.

Start from the top - which brand and model of pedals do you have?

As the adapter you've bought from Thrustmaster is specifically stated as being for:

"MAKES THE T3PA AND T3PA-PRO PEDAL SETS COMPATIBLE ON PC* WITH ALL RACING WHEELS ON THE MARKET (all brands)"

I've got the Logitech G29 wheel, and the Fanatec CSL Pedals with the loadcell kit.....

By going through their setup wizard thing and putting those exact things in, on the playstation, it comes up with that red picture I posted above, so it does suggest this kit is what I need, just with this damn adapter I can't find!

That's a left tab RJ12 isn't it?

Looks like you need a standard RJ12.

Or just re-plumb the connector.

ETA. It looks like Thrustmaster use the left tab just to be annoying. So whatever your pedals are use the standard connector.

Try this... LINK.

Sorry, I'm not overly techy.....but I don't have Thrustmaster pedals, I've got Fanatec pedals and Logitech wheel. I came across that Drivehub thing which seemed to specifically say it is designed to get setups like mine working together, it's just this one adapter I'm missing which will allow me to plug the pedals into the drivehub.....

Then you'd probably be wanting the adapter made by Fanatec then, not Thrustmaster.....

Before you go off and spend more money, you may wish to contact the makers of Drive Hub to confirm whether you still need this or not.

By their own list they have only the "Elite" variant of the the CSL pedals needing the USB adapter.

  • Fanatec CSL Elite*
  • Fanatec CSL Elite with Load Cell
  • Fanatec CSL

For the plain old Fanatec CSL, it doesn't list that the USB adapter is needed it seems. But then they don't list a "Fanatec CSL with Load Cell" either, so best check with them whether they actually support the plain old "Fanatec CSL with Load Cell" first and whether it needs the clubsport adapter.

The loadcell kit seems to add a USB port already to then connect upwards, but it's all a bit confusing as to whether this is supported by the Drive Hub as Fanatec show that this is for a PC connection.

Damn, thanks for looking, I jumped the gun and bought it already. Doh.

But from trying to set this all up the other day, the only bit I came unstuck at is plugging the pedals into the drivehub, so it looks like that one adapter is all I need. But at the moment I don't rate my luck, so it might fail. Should know in a day or two!

It just arrived, and it fits! Will try setting it all up later, but thank you for sorting this part of the headache!!
