Hello All,
I belong to a shooting club (indoor target, rifle and pistol) and have been asked to seek out a software that can manage 'club' things like membership, hardware, visits and purpose, ammunition and target purchase and stocks, etc., etc.
There will soon be an electronic card reader for secure entry so cardholder entry date, time and length of stay will need to be logged automatically against eachparticular card. Sometimes, the police require these details.
Currently, one of the range officers is logging all this on paper. There's a Win 10 PC and somebody built a system based on Excel but he left. Nobody got any usable tuition, there are no help elements and the system is pretty impenetrable.
I was told that some outfit had offered to set something up professionally, with tuition and some sort of on-call help arrangement but it was big bucks, to say the least.
So, I'm wondering if anyone on here has encountered such a thing at their own club. i'm sure there are many organisations (golf or archery clubs, gyms and the like) who use the same so let's see what transpires. Thank you.
