We are getting my son his first phone for his upcoming birthday. Any good recommendations for monitoring software that is reliable and easy to setup etc ?
Mainly keen on seeing what he is doing on it, time used, location tracker etc.
Have a look at Qustodio. We use it on my son's PC and iPad, for content filtering more than anything else. He's only 9 so doesn't have a phone yet, but when he does we'll put it on there too.
Works well for what we want, and seems to have a good range of functionality.
We have just given the missus's 11 year old his first smart phone, Samsung Galaxy S8+
I control it via family link, also installed Lawnchair launcher and hidden play store and settings. Anything he tries to install from Play store it will alert us.
