Replacement unibody iMac screen

Hi,

My mate's company is getting rid of a Unibody Imac 24". Assuming its nothing stupid it will need a new screen (Screen is dark on boot, nothing happens). Obviously going to stick an external monitor on there and check contrast etc but assuming it is the screen, where do people go to buy quality replacement screens (at reasonable prices as I dont want to spend more than it's worth as its only going to be a youtube/browsing machine.)

I looked at this on /www.thebookyard.com as a just in case if I replaced the Fusion Drive in my 27" with a massive SSD and managed to smash the screen ... a replacement was £700 (a couple of years ago) and they're still £500 now so doubt it would be cost effective tbh.
