My chime stopped working just after a year
Anybody else’s done the same?
Felt the need to open it up

Speaker -ve wire has broken off the board.

Just re-solder it.

Or am I missing something (Norwegian Blue incoming)?

On my second, and third doorbell. Quality is poor, but in my experience, if you can put up with the 45 minutes of installing latest firmware, the support has been great. My original chime+ was a freebie to try and test my second failing door bell, the latest of each were both free upgrades.

Mine stopped working, there was a deal at the time on the chime pro which appears to be a much better built unit so I went for that.

Not had any issues since.

Have you thought of using an Echo Flex?
Only £10 and you can set this to chime or talk when the Ring is pressed.
