Binoculars?

I guess it falls under ‘stuff’ but I’m after a new pair of binoculars (or monocular).

My current set are zoomable which is quite a nice feature but they’re big and heavy and I’m guessing 30 years old so I’m sure technology has improved them a lot.

Has anyone any recommendations for a smaller zoomable pair? Budget up to £200. As said I would also consider a monocular as I’ve often fancied one as it must halve the weight and size.

Find your nearest optics/RSPB shop and go and try them.
Forget the zoom feature, you are better off just getting a better quality fixed magnification.
Opticron would be my go to at that price, but also look for Hawke or Viking.
