MP3 and phone music options

years ago i downloaded a shedfull of music onto my sanddisk mp3.....it was fine then as we had a "Star trek" flip phone. But now we have sort of caught up to more modern tech and we have a samsung S8. Obvs ? as you are way ahead of me....how do I transfer that music to my phone? Do i have to have some sort of app for music storage etc. I have just bought a pair of bluetooth earbuds. I have no idea.....honest.

yes a HP jobby, (quite new)

Plug them both into the computer and drag and drop the music you want from the mp3 player into the music folder on your phone.
That should do it.

I made a music folder on a 32gb card and keep them there on my S8.

Your android should have a fe system like this, either on internal memory, (the one the phone came with inbuilt), or on an SD card as an additional (in the case I am showing you).

Put music in the music folder.
Pictures in the pictures folder.
And so on.

cheers all, have uploaded musicolet as mentioned earlier and I have music with the new earbuds that I've just bought and they are brill

You may have to fettle the tags for the albums, as they seldom cover every aspect.
