currently have 5/6 shared email accounts that are setup on all users machines (6 seperate users) and its just a case. of emails are downloaded to each account (some have outlook some have mailbird) and their just replied to by whoever gets it first

what i'm looking to implement is some sort of traceability on whos read an email, and who has replied to it.

is this something that could be done using 365? or would i need to be looking at other options, currently all our emails are hosted by our web hosting company and not on 365.

if someone could possibly suggest a way of doing this in very simple terms ie use this software or you want an exchange server (please note i have no idea what an exchange server actually does beyond emailly things) so i can then go find someone actually competent to make it work

Do you have your own domain eg glasgowrob.co.uk?

MS365 can be set up to do what you & there are posters who can recommend companies to help you run it so hopefully some of them will reply.

yes, have 4/5 domains that we would be dealing with emails for, all currently hosted with tso host atm but i'd rather get this nipped just now before we grow any bigger and it becomes an absolute pita.

quick look suggests exchange365 will do 90% of what we're looking for with the added benefits of shared calenders etc which is something we could make use of and dare i say it maybe a bit easier than the current mishmash of mailbird/outlook/other mail clients we currently are using.
