Hey!
Can anyone recommend a replacement battery (aftermarket or genuine) for a 2013 Macbook Air?
There’s many options on the internet but ideally I’d like something that actually works and I don’t trust Amazon reviews!

They do, but I can happily do it myself - just need to make sure I get a decent replacement part!

I got two off amazon, for a 2011 and a 2012, both were fine.

After having bad experiences with Amazon and eBay batteries (for tablets) we went with Duracell when my son's Mackbook air (2017) needed a battery.

https://www.duracelldirect.co.uk/laptop-notebook/a...

It was about £70 but it's from a known manufacturer and with a proper warranty. It's working fine a few months after install.

The issues we had with Amazon/eBay batteries is charging is much slower, and the tablets start crashing below about 30% charge.

Thank you, that’s good to know

I got one from amazon, which arrived flat and only worked once. Junk.

Ifixit.com has decent ones

I have a mid 2014 MacBook Pro Retina 15" and my battery is shot..... Been trying to work out if its worth replacing the battery or buying a new M2 Air....

Apple and authorised re-sellers don't supply the battery any more, but have found a local place to replace it for £150. Don't know what battery they will use.

Is it a difficult job? I'm pretty good doing most things myself..... but I've never attempted anything like this before.
