Google play issue

Has anyone had problems with Google play updates screwing up tablets running android 8?
I've had 2 tablets fall over recently, a Pixel C and a Samsung tab A8

Can you elaborate on the issues?

I've had some annoying Google play issues / Google services errors in the past.

Android 8 is no-longer supported by Google unfortunately. Like Windows 7, expect more problems as time passes and more apps are unsupported.

I'm running Android 7 on my phone. I get the occasional 'google play keeps stopping' notifications which I am able to resolve.

Some apps probably can't be installed on my phone. Although I have such little storage that I don't run many apps anyway.
