Hotmail junk issue

Morning all,

This morning, for some reason, none of my emails are being filtered anymore on Hotmail. Everything is now going through to my inbox and nothing in to junk. Previously everything apart from my contacts and safe senders would go to junk. Any help anyone?

Mine too.

I am guessing it’s an algorithm glitch which will be resolved later.

Seems to happen for a day or two every few weeks on my Hotmail account, loads of junk comes through to my focussed inbox for a day then it goes back to normal.
Got common enough I've now turned notifications off for emails on my phone.

Yep same, junk appearing in Inbox. Got a phishing scam from MS saying someone in Russia had logged into to my Outlook from somewhere else. The link to report it was sending an email to a dodgy account. I knew it wasnt genuine because of that, but also I have a unique un-guessable password and 2FA. But that ended up in the Inbox as well

Yep had a fair few over the last few days, seems to go in cycles on there where they'll just beat filtering or whatever

Luckily I only use that address for ordering on-line stuff so I know 99% of stuff is spam unless I've actually done a transaction

Same here today, just hitting "Report Phishing" on each and every one. No idea if it does any good but makes me feel better.

Yup. Non stop ‘your penis is too small’ and ‘be a better lover’ emails for the past couple of weeks. Most seem to be coming from my wife’s account though?

I got some really odd email from a guy asking me to meet him in the woods so we can compare nob size.

What a fking weirdo.

He didnt even show up

Anyway, same here, all the shoite that goes straight to Junk is now popping up as a notification on my phone and found in my inbox.

Always been impressed with Hotmail up to now.

Good to know it's not just me then.

Had a lot of spam and phishing mail today, was starting to think my email address has been posted on a billboard in Lagos.
