......Will take a full width single page A4 without question and not over heat if asked to shred 4 pages ?

Also, will not block the cheap shredding blades after 110 pages and be a waste of cash.......

I did over 500 photos, some brochures and old letters in a sitting with this - took a while of course as its not super fast

But did the job well. Outsource the work to your kids like I did.

Fellowes 79Ci - https://amzn.eu/d/9GEluGS

I've been pounding the heck out of this for 10 years and it hasn't skipped a beat. I appreciate it's pricey but I tend to like "sledgehammer to crack a nut" solutions.

I've the Fellowes 79Ci as well though maybe a bit pricy for home use, I suspect the domestic models are just as sturdy

We've had a Swordfish 800XXC since 2014, and it's still going strong despite doing about a basket of home/small office shredding a day.

We had a couple of Fellowes ones (around the £100 range), and they were also fine for the first 2-3 years of similar usage. This was £133 when we bought it...which seemed expensive at the time...but has been great.
